PreventifyPreventify LLC ("Preventify," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Preventify mobile application ("App") and our website at preventifyapp.com (the "Site"). By using Preventify, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. How Your Data Is Handled
Most of the data you create inside the App is stored locally on your device. The main exception is your email address (and an optional role you may choose, such as athlete, parent, or coach), which we collect so we can communicate with you. That contact information is handled through trusted service providers, as described below.
In-App training data (stored on your device). Preventify does not transmit, upload, or sync your in-app training data to our servers. Because of this:
- Your in-app training data stays on your device.
- We cannot access, view, or retrieve your in-app training data.
- If you delete the App or clear App data, that information is permanently and irreversibly lost.
- There is no cloud backup or synchronization of your in-app training data.
Contact information (collected). When you join our beta or waitlist on the Site, or provide your email within the App, we collect and store that email address (and optional role) using our website host and email service providers so we can contact you.
2. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide to us. Your email address, and any optional role you select (for example, athlete, parent, coach, or trainer), submitted through our Site or within the App.
b. Profile Information (stored on your device). Your first name (entered manually during setup) and age confirmation (13 or older).
c. Fitness & Training Preferences (stored on your device). Primary sport (e.g., tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, track & field), training frequency, training experience level, training intensity, season phase, tightness/stiffness self-assessment, energy level self-assessment, available equipment.
d. App Usage Data (stored on your device). Completed workouts, check-in history, workout preferences, progress data, achievement data, points and streak data.
e. App Settings (stored on your device). Notification preferences, daily reminder preferences.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the email address you provide to contact you about beta access, launch news, and product updates, and to respond to questions you send us. Your in-app training data is used only on your device to personalize your sport-specific programs and track your progress; we do not receive it.
4. Information We Do NOT Collect
Beyond the limited contact information described above, Preventify does not collect or have access to:
- Passwords or authentication credentials
- Medical diagnoses, treatment history, or clinical data
- Pain severity scores or medical assessments
- Surgeries, medications, or imaging results
- Heart rate, blood pressure, VO₂ max, or other biometric data
- Precise geolocation data
- Any information considered Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA
5. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share the limited contact information we collect (your email and optional role) only with the service providers that help us operate, such as our website host and our form and email tools, and only so they can store your email and help us send the communications you signed up for.
We do not share your in-app training data, because it stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. We do not use advertising networks. Standard hosting and email tools may automatically log limited technical information (such as an IP address) as part of delivering their service.
6. Email Communications
If you give us your email, we use it to contact you about beta access, launch news, and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us at preventifyapp@gmail.com.
7. Minor Users: Strict Age Restriction
Preventify is strictly prohibited for users under the age of 13. There are no exceptions, including with parental or guardian consent. Users under 13 may not use Preventify under any circumstances.
The App includes an age verification gate during the initial setup process. By confirming your age, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older.
Users between 13 and 17 years of age should use the App with the awareness and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
If we become aware that a user under 13 has accessed the App, we recommend the parent or guardian delete the App from the device, which will permanently remove all locally stored data, and contact us so we can remove any email address provided.
8. Data Deletion
You have control over your data at all times:
- In-App data: use the "Delete All Data" feature in your Profile settings, or uninstall the App, which permanently removes all locally stored data.
- Your email: unsubscribe using the link in any email from us, or contact preventifyapp@gmail.com and we will remove your email address from our list.
9. Data Security
Your in-app data is stored using standard device-level storage mechanisms provided by the operating system (iOS/Android). For the email address you provide, we rely on the security measures of our hosting and email service providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold.
10. Not Medical Advice
Preventify provides general injury prevention and movement guidance for informational purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Users should discontinue use and consult a medical professional if discomfort or injury occurs.
11. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Preventify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App enforces an age gate that prevents users under 13 from proceeding. If we learn that we have collected an email address from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The only personal information Preventify collects is the email address (and optional role) you choose to provide.
- Right to Know: you may ask what personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: you may ask us to delete your email; your in-app data is under your sole control on your device.
- Right to Opt-Out: Preventify does not sell personal information.
- Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

13. International Users
Preventify is operated by Preventify LLC, located in the State of Texas, United States. If you access Preventify from outside the United States, please be aware that the email address you provide may be stored on servers located in the United States, and your in-app training data remains on your local device.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be made available within the App and on our Site. Continued use of Preventify after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
